Spillanes Towing and Recovery Services Worst Company! “The towing service part of this company is the WORST tow company I have ever heard of! Would never trust them anywhere NEAR my car again! Not to tow it, and ESPECIALLY not to fix it!!!! \n\nThey towed my car from an area where I had a parking permit, broke the locking mechanism on my axal while wrongfully towing my car, OPENED MY HOOD FORCEFULLY to add too much/ the wrong type of transmission fluid which combined with the other ways they damaged my car, damaged the internal of my transmission!!\nNo tow-er should EVER open a car hood to begin with!! \n\nThis is (510 for the axal, 200 for the fluid change, 633 for the labor on the transmission, and upwards of 3000 for the transmission) 4343 DOLLARS!!!!\nNot to mention I need my car for work because work requires me to drive all around northern Vermont every day in a different place, so while my car is being fixed I can't work, and it's taking forever because fixing a transmission is no easy task!\n\nThis company broke my car over towing it WHEN IT SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN BEEN TOWED IN THE FIRST PLACE. My parking permit was RIGHT THERE ON MY BACK BUMPER (where it is SUPPOSED TO BE LOCATED) so the person who towed my car literally had to stare at my parking permit while hooking up my car's rear to the tow truck.\n\nI have told this story to countless people and no one has ever heard of a tow truck company messing up this badly or messing up a car this much!\n\nMoral of the story, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I'm going to have a talk with the manager of my building complex on monday so that hopefully he can switch to a towing service for our lot that is actually competent and won't destroy your car!”
